  • Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School

    Founded by Tony Bennett and Susan Benedetto in 2001, the school resides in Astoria across the street from the Museum of the Moving Image and Kaufman Studios.  It offers a specialized program in the arts and has a competitive academic program.  The state of the art facility includes an 800-seat concert hall, dance studios, art studios, recording and practice rooms and a film studio with editing suites.  Selection is based on a competitive audition and evaluation of academic records.

    Located in Astoria, their Programs include 18 AP Classes,  Honors Program, Opera and Orchestra, Dance and Theatre, Visual Arts and 8 Foreign Languages.  Facilities include an Olympic-sized Pool, a Culinary Arts Program and academies with Small Learning Communities.
     

  • LIC Kids Enrichment Center

    Long Island City Kids is a Children Enrichment Center enrolling children from many areas of Queens and mid-Manhattan.  They provide physical, intellectual and socially enriching experience for all kids. They offer creative and innovative classes for babies, toddlers and children in music, gym, art, ballet, creative dance, chess, martial arts. They also offer a pre-school for 2-4 year olds, an after-school program for 3-10 year olds, swimming camps and birthday parties.

     

  • Little Ones Pre-School LLC

    Pre-school program located in the CityLights Building.  This was the first pre-school program to open in the Queens West area of Hunter's Point.

  • Lolly‚Äôs Early Learning Center

    Lolly's mission is to "provide children with an innovative, extensive, high caliber Early Childhood Education by using developmentally appropriate materials in an organized and safe child-centered setting.  Lolly's has Toddler Programs for 2-3 year olds, a Lower Pre-School for 3-4 year olds and an Upper Pre-School for 4-5 year olds modeled after NYS Universal Pre-K.

    First elementary school (K-5) opened in the Queens West area of Hunter's Point.  It resides in the CityLights building and was founded 14 years ago.
